A busy week at work

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

We were very busy last week.  The embroidery machine was sewing away every day on customer orders and we also worked on developing new embroidery designs for this summer’s SandSations, The CCSC Golf Tournament, The Breakers, Back Country Outfitters and Bennett & Son Construction.  It is always a challenge, yet fun, to come up with a new design that can be embroidered on various types of shirts, caps and sweat shirts.  We work up a design on the computer, then embroider it on a piece of felt so everyone can get an idea of what it will look like.  We can then adjust the thread color or modify the design, if needed.

We did take some time off to play golf!  We need to practice a bit before the Furrballs Golf Tournament on May 17th at Peninsula Golf Course, a fundraiser for the South Pacific County Humane Society.  Lost Weekend Clothing Co is excited to sponsor a hole and foursome for the tournament, as well as to donate some embroidered prizes.

Tank

Tank is our Boston Terrier.  He is such a kick to have around.  He thinks he is the owner of the house and he loves to nap in the sun.  Getting him motivated for his daily walk to beach is sometimes difficult!  Here are some fun pictures of him, although he really doesn’t like to have his picture taken.
