2012 Washington International Kite Festival

This year the Washington International Kite Festival will have many new styles and colors of clothing for sale. They also have a fun new logo that we have embroidered on them. Below are some of the clothing items that will be sold. We are very excited to make the WSIKF our embroidered item of the month.

You can order ANSI certified coats, vests and t-shirts through Lost Weekend Clothing. There are also non-ANSI certified jackets, caps and vests. These items can be embroidered with your business logo or name. My brother Curt has ordered both a coat and windbreaker for his work.

Christmas 2011

Every other year we get together with family for Christmas in Central Oregon and we give everyone an embroidered gift. This Christmas we were in Eagle Crest and we gave everyone a royal blue zip up hoodie with snow flakes and Eagle Crest embroidered on them. Here are pictures of the group and the sweatshirt.

Full Circle Cafe’ and Tapestry Rose Yarn Shop

We are happy to showcase the Full Circle Cafe’ and Tapestry Rose Yarn Shop as our November embroidered item of the month. The cafe’ is a great place for breakfast and lunch and the yarn shop is filled with all kinds of colorful yarns. The owner, Colleen Smith, is fun, energetic and is always a pleasure to talk to. On Saturday, October 8th, Troy and I flew our kites in support of the One Sky, One World Kite Fly for Peace. Check out this link for information about the One Sky, One World kite fly. This annual event is sponsored by our local World Kite Museum. Saturday afternoon turned out sunny and windy, a great day to fly kites!
