Lately, we’ve been embroidering t-shirts, sweatshirts and caps for the World Kite Museum gift shop, located in Long Beach, WA.  We have embroidered these items for them for many years and we currently filled in their inventory with the colors and sizes that had been sold.  They also requested a new embroidered item, denim shirts, that turned out great!  Lost Weekend Clothing Co, as a member of this wonderful organization, has also donated embroidered items for their fundraisers.

Lost Weekend Clothing Co is excited to have a link to the catalog that we use for most of our custormer’s apparel and accessories purchases.  We will still provide a hard copy catalog to anyone that would like one, but if you are interested in browsing on line, just click on the link on the right hand side that says, “Our Apparel Selections.”  You can always email us with any questions about any item or request embroidery pricing.

Jim and Sondra Eaton have worked tirelessly to maintain and improve the Peninsula Golf Course, located in Long Beach, WA.  It is a fun, inexpensive public golf course, with some challenges for every golfer.  Sondra Eaton always has a friendly smile when you check in and the Head Professional Jim Eaton, has gained a reputation as a great teacher.  People come from all over the area for one of his private golf lessons.  Since they took over management of the golf course, Lost Weekend Clothing Co has worked with them to embroider items for the golf shop.  We are very happy to name Peninsula Golf Course our July “Customer of the Month”.

On Saturday June 13th, we handed out water for the half marathon runners at the turn-around station at Beard’s Hollow.   It was fun to help out the runners of the Beach to Chowder Challenge and to send them on their way for the last 4.5 miles to the finish.

We have had a busy week catching up on many miscellaneous orders, but also embroidering a number of items for the Peninsula Saddle Club.  They will give them out at the annual rodeo on July 25th and 26th in Long Beach, WA.  It has been fun working with Joanne Dalton (owner of the Best Little Hair House in Klipsan) setting up the designs and picking out things to embroider.

When approached late last year by Jill Grey, Chairperson of the Doggie Olympic Games, about embroidering the D.O.G. design on sweatshirts, a canvas bag and dog jackets, we were very excited.  As this is a fun annual event in Long Beach, Washington for dogs, their owners and people who love dogs, we couldn’t wait to get started.  Lost Weekend Clothing Co supported the event by donating the cost of digitizing the logo necessary for our embroidery machine.  The red sweatshirts are worn by the numerous volunteers that help to make this event successful.  The four types and colors of sweatshirts, bag and dog coat can be purchased on June 20th at the Doggie Olympic Games.  These are great wearable mementos of the fun time had by all!  We are pleased to showcase the D.O.G. as Lost Weekend Clothing’s June Customer of the Month.

Lost Weekend Clothing Co just finished embroidering t-shirts and sweatshirts for the July 2009 SandSations.  The embroidery design was set up by Lost Weekend Clothing Co.  The embroidered design and the shirt colors turned out fantastic (unfortunately, all the pictures of the shirts for this posting were lost, but you can see the embroidered design below).  It was a pleasure working with Jeff Harrell, of Peninsula Pharmacies, who was in charge of SandSations t-shirts.  For more information check out SandSations and the Sand Flea Pet Parade supporting the South Pacific County Humane Society.

Lost Weekend Clothing Co was the proud sponsor of a hole and foursome for the Furrballs Golf Tournament on Sunday, May 17th to help support the South Pacific County Humane Society.  Our foursome was made up of Ron Barclay, Michael Robinson, Troy Rodenbaugh and Craig Smith.  Although we are not “tournament” golfers, we had fun and were able to support a great local establishement, the South Pacific County Humane Society.

It was fun to drive the Mustang in the annual Loyalty Days Parade in Long Beach on May 3rd.  This is always a great parade and even the sun came out after a rainy start to the weekend!  On the back of the Mustang is Pat Gardner, Pacific County Auditor.
